These Website Standard Terms and Conditions govern your use of SciDraw, an AI image editor and generator, accessible at https://scidraw.org.

Other than the content you own, under these Terms, SciDraw and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained on this Website.

Your rights to use generated outputs are set out in our License. Restrictions on platform materials do not override those rights.

2. Restrictions

Restrictions on publishing, selling, or publicly showing Website materials refer to SciDraw platform materials, not to Your Content as permitted by our License. Other restrictions below apply to your use of the service:

  • Publishing any Website material in any other media
  • Selling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercializing any Website material
  • Publicly performing or showing any Website material
  • Using this Website in any way that is or may be damaging to this Website
  • Using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website
  • Using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way that may cause harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity
  • Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this Website

2.1 Prohibited Content — NSFW, Sexual, and Adult Material

The generation, creation, uploading, or distribution of the following content is strictly prohibited on SciDraw:

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic imagery, including nudity intended to be sexually gratifying
  • Content depicting minors in a sexual or inappropriate context (zero tolerance — violations will be reported to relevant authorities)
  • Non-consensual sexual content or imagery depicting sexual violence
  • Content intended to harass, threaten, or sexually exploit any individual
  • Adult or NSFW content of any kind, regardless of whether it involves real persons or AI-generated subjects

SciDraw is an AI image generation and editing platform intended for legitimate creative, commercial, and educational purposes only. Any account found generating or attempting to generate prohibited content will be immediately suspended without refund, and relevant content may be reported to law enforcement where legally required.

Certain areas of this Website are restricted from being accessed by you, and SciDraw may further restrict access by you to any areas of this Website at any time, in its absolute discretion. Any user ID and password you may have for this Website are confidential and you must maintain confidentiality as well.

3. Your Content

“Your Content” includes your prompts, uploads, and generated outputs. As between you and SciDraw, you retain ownership of Your Content to the extent permitted by law and subject to third-party rights. You grant SciDraw a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, and transmit your content only as needed to provide and secure the service, including processing by service providers on our behalf. This license does not authorize public marketing use or model training. Public use of your content for promotion requires your separate permission. Retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.

Your Content must be your own and must not infringe any third party’s rights. SciDraw reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time without notice.

4. No Warranties

This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and SciDraw expresses no representations or warranties of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SciDraw, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. SciDraw, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.

6. Indemnification

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent SciDraw from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

7. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provision shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

8. Variation of Terms

SciDraw is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

9. Assignment

SciDraw is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

10. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our License, Privacy Policy, Content Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, form the agreement governing your use of the service. The License governs permitted use of generated outputs.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the United States for the resolution of any disputes.
